What are your views on the war in Iraq?

Paul, chef from Belgium

War is never good, but may be sometimes necessary. I think the Iraqis must now stop complaining and act for themselves. First they say Hussein was no good, but now they've got rid of him it's the Americans that are no good.

America's invasion of Iraq was not a good thing. Just because Hussein is bad doesn't give them the right to just march into teh country. How would the Americans feel if they were invaded just bevause someone thought Bush was bad? The situation in the world is changing in that the powerful nations just crush the smaller countries. It's a violation of international law. It's inhumane.

Bob, brewer & bar owner from USA
I think Buh is an idiot. He should never have gone into Iraq with the information he had. He should have sorted out the Bin Laden probrem first before starting on someone else. I have a nephew in the forces over there now and I worry about him. Saying that, now we're over there let's hope we can do something to help the country.

Alan, cycle tourist from UK
I was against the Americans and British going into Iraq. Even if Saddam did have the weapons, I don't think he would have used them due to international pressure. Now the people in Iraw seem to be suffering more than under Hussein. It was the same with Afghanistan. They say they are going to do this and do that, but in the end they pull out and make things worse.

Zineb, student from Morocco
Of course I'm against the war. I think they could have found a better resolution. They are making the excuses of finding Hussein, but I don't thinik that's the only reason. They are also making promises of the reconstructions of Iraq but that's not easy, and I certainly don't see them doing anything right now.
