The mission of Â鶹´«Ã½ is to educate health science professionals, discover and translate advances in the biomedical and social sciences, and model the best practices in clinical care and public health.
We pursue this mission in order to advance the quality of human life by enhancing the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease and injury as well as promoting individual health and community well-being.

Unreimbursed charity care
UT Physicians, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, is the clinical practice of McGovern Medical School. Through a range of specialties that include neurosciences, orthopedics, heart and vascular health, and women’s and children’s health, our faculty offer urgent, highly specialized, or complex care to individuals and families from Texas and around the world.
Revenue from UT Physicians provides Â鶹´«Ã½ with additional resources to support our faculty and further enhance the education of the health care professionals of tomorrow.
UT Dentists is the multidisciplinary dental practice of Â鶹´«Ã½ School of Dentistry, providing high-quality dental care built on the dedication of dental professionals and use of advanced technologies. With an extensive range of services, UT Dentists delivers comprehensive oral health services with a personal touch.
UT Health Services is the nurse-managed primary care, occupational health, and employee health clinic operated by Cizik School of Nursing at Â鶹´«Ã½ since 1991, with board-certified nurse practitioners and physicians providing individualized, high-quality health and wellness care for patients.
